On New Year's Eve, I attended a pops concert played by the Sydney Symphony in the Concert Hall at the Opera House. The Opera House is obviously one of Australia's most famous icons. There's really no other building in the world like it, and the acoustics in the hall were unparalleled. At midnight, I rang in the New Year by watching the fireworks display from the Opera House overlooking the water to the Harbour bridge. It was an amazing New Year's Eve!
